Iranian Petroleum Products Company (Frico) Plant

Founded in 1993, it specializes in the production, marketing, and storage of various types of vegetable oils, as well as oilseed cultivation and related research. It relies on the most modern technologies and the latest scientific and industrial advances to serve our beloved homeland. Furthermore, this plant and its products comply with international standards and compete with the largest plants in the Middle East in terms of exports.
Sirjan Plant
The Iranian Petroleum Products Company built the largest vegetable oil plant in Iran and the Middle East in the Sirjan Free Trade Zone.
This plant uses the most advanced technologies in the sector.
The Frico plant includes the following units:
1. Storage tanks for various types of crude oil with a total capacity of 24,000 tons. 2. Vegetable oil refinery with a capacity of 800 tons per day and 250,000 tons per year of finished product.
3. Emergency power plant with a capacity of 2,000 kilowatts.
4. Steam boilers with a combined capacity of 40 cubic meters of steam per hour.
5. Regional electrical substation with a capacity of 2,500 kWh and distribution network equipment.
6. One-liter and three-liter polyethylene and PET bottle manufacturing unit.
7. Water supply, storage, and distribution facilities.
8. Hydrogen gas production unit from natural gas with a capacity of 1,500 cubic meters of hydrogen.
9. Fatty acid production unit from soap paste with a capacity of 50 tons of fatty acids per day.
10. Firefighting equipment. 11. Equipped process control and research laboratories.
12. Repair workshop for electrical, mechanical, and precision instruments.
13. Packaging unit for various types of liquid and solid vegetable oils in polyethylene metal containers.
14. Mosque, community, administrative, social, and technical buildings.
15. During the operational period, at least 500 people will be directly employed in the project.
16. The plant's production will generate $50,000,000 in added value in foreign currency annually, and the foreign currency investment will be amortized in a short time.
