The Emir of Qatar's agreement with the transfer of 28 Iranian prisoners to Tehran, as well as the cancellation of the ban on the passage of traditional Iranian barges to the ports of Qatar during the president's visit to this country, have been an indication of Doha's goodwill.
Besides defining a new cooperation by the two countries, Doha's role as a mediator in some foreign policy issues between Iran and the United States has made Tehran-Doha relations more special.
