It has been signed and the construction of this new jacket is currently underway by Petropars.
The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company said: "Now there is no common domain between Iran and Saudi Arabia that has not been awarded, on the other hand, due to the restoration of relations between the two countries, preparatory work has been launched for bilateral cooperation."
Khojstemehr said: Preparation for the start of drilling in the joint Arash oil field is complete, and we have approved significant resources for the implementation of the development plan of this field in the board of directors of the National Iranian Oil Company, and when the conditions are ready, we will start drilling in the Arash field.
He admitted that the development plan of the Farzad E (A) gas field was presented to the board of directors of the National Iranian Oil Company, and that in the near future the construction of the sheath of this field will also begin.
The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company considered the drilling industry as one of the most important links in the production of oil and gas in land and sea areas and said: Drilling is a guarantee of continuity and of stability in maintaining and increasing the production of oil and gas, for this reason, the management in this industry, especially in the department of specialized forces and having drilling platforms with new technological equipment are major problems in the oil industry.
Total Land and Sea Drilling Fleet Reaches 133 Rigs
Highlighting that the country's total private and public sector land and sea drilling fleet reaches 133 units, Khojstemehr said: We need new drilling rigs to increase production, especially from common fields, therefore , in recent years, the full capacity of the private sector in We have used this field.
He pointed out: From the perspective of the National Iranian Oil Company, the role of the National Iranian Drilling Company and the drilling industry in the production chain is as important as the production itself. In other words, just as the production of oil and gas is sovereign, we believe that the National Drilling Company of Iran is also sovereign. Therefore, with the support of the government, we hope to be able to invest so that the National Drilling Company of Iran. With the coordination of the Ministry of Petroleum, we have asked the government to remove the Iranian National Drilling Company from the list of companies likely to be transferred, so that we can meet the oil and gas production targets in the country with more confidence and with minimal risk.
The Deputy Minister of Petroleum continued: The biggest challenge in the drilling industry is the low productivity of drilling rigs and the efficiency of drilling operations, so we are looking for it with different methods, including equipment, software, human capital and the use of technological equipment.
Insisting on setting up numerous sites for the manufacture of spare parts needed for drilling rigs in order to prevent imports, Khojstemehr clarified: We are trying to build important equipment related to drilling rigs, including diesel generators, inside the country.
Upcoming handover of the 35-well drilling project

Referring to the start of the countdown to the start of production of phase 11 of South Pars, the CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company said: "Soon we will provide the project to drill 35 new wells in the gas field from South Pars to private individuals. and national companies in the country, as well as Pars Oil and Gas Company, which has launched new exploration activities in this area and completes engineering information to access new gas reserves.
