Iran does not neglect its interests in the common gas field of Arash.
Islamic Council Energy Commission Spokesperson: Emphasizing that Iran will in no way reduce its interests in the joint Arash gas field, he said: until the disputes are resolved, no country should have the right to exploit and develop the gas field. common of Arash.

Mostafa Nakhai, referring to the positions of the countries of Kuwait and Arabia around the common gas field of Arash, said in the group of journalists: We have many common fields with neighboring countries, and in all the programs of development of the country, attention and emphasis are placed on the areas that have been highlighted. .
Our lack of planning and focus in the Arash Joint Gas Field in recent years has prompted our rival countries to take steps to develop it, but unfortunately we haven't done anything special in this regard.
Therefore, the first problem belongs to the officials of our country, because in recent years we have not had special attention and activity in the development of the common gas field of Arash.
He added: Almost 60 years have passed since the discovery of this common field and there are very valuable gas resources, to some extent gas condensate and a small amount of oil in this common field.
In recent years, we should have resolved our differences with rival countries in the joint Arash gas field and planned its development, but unfortunately we have not taken any action in this regard.
The representative of the people of Nehbandan in the Islamic Council said: On the other hand, despite all the conditions mentioned, it is clear that Iran will in no way neglect its interests in Arash Square.
This domain belongs to all nations and countries, to this generation and to future generations.
He went on to point out: On the other hand, we have disputes in the field of the common gas field of Arash, which we must first resolve by negotiating in a diplomatic framework.
The determination of the maritime borders, the contribution of each country in this common gas field and finally deciding how to develop the field must be evoked in the negotiations and resolved.
The spokesperson for Parliament's Energy Committee added: "It is better to solve problems by negotiating and improving relations with neighboring countries first.
In my opinion, these problems can be resolved through negotiation.
If for some reason issues are not resolved through negotiations and diplomatic relations, we must take legal action and pursue our issues in a legal framework through international institutions.
Nakhai added: Until the disputes are resolved and the issues surrounding this common gas field are clarified, no country should have the right to start, operate and develop this common gas field.
