Facilitating Russian trade with Iran, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan .
Russia is set to join an agreement that will simplify the trade process with its member countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.

According to Radio and Television; Russia is about to join an agreement on the facilitation of procedures for cross-border paperless trade in the Asia-Pacific region.
The relevant law was recently approved by the Federation Council of Russia and now needs to be signed by the President.
Russia's accession to this agreement means mutual recognition of electronic documents for the export, import and transit of goods by this country and the other signatory countries.
This avoids unnecessary bureaucratic procedures.
Currently, 11 countries including Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, China, Iran, Bangladesh, Mongolia, Philippines, South Korea, Democratic East Timor and Tuvalu have signed this agreement.
This agreement was signed in 2016 during the 72nd meeting of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific.
