Interview with the CEO of Sirjan Special Economic Zone: Sepehr Ekhtaz magazine, affiliated with Kerman Chamber of Commerce, conducted a detailed interview with engineer Mohsen Vafai, CEO of Sirjan Special Economic Zone, under the title "Effective step to encourage investors"; In this conversation, Wafai introduced the region and the threats and opportunities the regions face.

The introduction to this interview states:
The country's first special economic zone was created in 1993 in Sirjan, where more than 40 production companies are active today.
This region has created direct jobs for 3,000 people.
In 2022, more than 65,000 tons of products from the region worth more than 7 trillion rials were exported to the countries of Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Indonesia, Iraq and Uzbekistan.
Although the incentive gap in our country for investing in Special Economic Zones is very large compared to other prosperous regions of the world, we also have many incentives for investing in Special Economic Zones, including tax exemptions. Yes, we have a separate labor law, customs exemptions, less bureaucracy, etc.
Mohsen Vafaei, CEO of Sirjan Special Economic Zone, believes that the full implementation of the law on the establishment and administration of special economic zones can be an effective step to encourage investors to enter this region.
