Iran's oil export value topped $42 billion.
OPEC announced: Data from OPEC's latest annual statistical bulletin shows that the value of Iran's oil exports in 2022 exceeded $42 billion.
 

According to the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Secretariat, a review of OPEC's annual statistical bulletin released on July 5-6, 2023 (July 14-15) shows that the value of Iran's oil exports in 2022 reached $42.6 trillion, up from $25.5 trillion in 2021, $7.9 trillion in 2022 0, and 19 billion 400 million dollars in 2019.
The record of over $42 billion for the value of Iran's crude oil exports in 2022 shows that this figure follows the increase in the sale of oil cargoes approaching the figure of $60 billion and $500 million recorded in 2018.
The total oil export value of OPEC members in 2022 reached $873 billion,500 million, showing an increase from the figure of $566 billion,400 million recorded in 2021.
Meanwhile, the US Energy Information Administration recently announced in a report that the Islamic Republic of Iran, with an income of $54 billion from oil exports in 2022, took fifth place among OPEC members.
Data from OPEC's annual statistical bulletin also indicates an increase of 161,000 barrels in Iran's crude oil production in 2022 compared to 2021, so according to secondary source statistics, Iran's crude oil production in 2022 was 2 million 554 thousand barrels, while this amount was 2 million 392 thousand barrels per day in 2021.
The trend of growth in Iran's oil production and exports continued in 1401 and in this context, Javad Oji, the Minister of Petroleum, confirming the increase in Iran's oil exports, had previously stated that in 2022, 190 million barrels of oil were exported more than in 2020 and 83 million barrels more than in 1400, and it is expected that a new record for oil exports is recorded this year.
Not so long ago, the Bloomberg news agency announced in a report that Iran's crude oil exports reached 1.6 million barrels per day in May 2023, the highest amount in the past five years.
Meanwhile, Facts Global Energy (FGE), an energy consultancy, has predicted that the sale of Iran's crude oil and petroleum product shipments will increase to 200,000 barrels per day in 2023.
