The Minister of Petroleum said that four South Pars Phase 11 wells have been completed till today and gas production started today from Phase 11 with 7 million cubic meters.
Stating that in the coming months, gas production from phase 11 will reach 10 to 12 million cubic meters, Oji said: Before winter, gas production from this phase will reach 15 million cubic meters per day.
He added: 20 additional wells will be drilled during this phase, and gas production from phase 11 will reach 50 to 56 million cubic meters per day.
