Minister of oil: Four new oil and gas deposits have been discovered through exploration operations across the country.

On the sidelines of the government council meeting, Javad Oji said: Four oil and gas fields have been discovered through exploration operations carried out across the country.
He added: The amount of discoveries in the field of oil and gas amounts to 2.6 billion barrels of liquid hydrocarbon equivalent, which means that oil and gas can be extracted in these two years .
The Minister of Oil said: Four oil and gas fields include Cheshmeshor gas field in the northeast of the country in Khorasan Razavi province, Ilkan or Irkan oil field in Golestan province, and the Tengu and Gnaveh oil fields in Bushehr province.
Oji continued: Thanks to the exploration performance during the 2 years of operation of the people's government, four oil and gas fields where the volume of oil and gas that can be extracted is 2.6 billion barrels of liquid hydrocarbons were discovered.
He said: We have had a replacement rate of 78% in the liquid hydrocarbon sector in the People's Government.
This means that if 100 barrels of oil and gas condensate were produced for consumption or export, 78 barrels were replaced by new discoveries.
The Oil Minister continued: We have also seen an increase of over 300% in three-dimensional seismic operations compared to the entire four years of the 12th government.
Oji said: Compared to regional countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE and Qatar, the Islamic Republic of Iran ranks first in exploration.
