The deputy head of the National Export Day Headquarters said that this year, in terms of form and content, fundamental changes have been made to the process of selecting exemplary and distinguished exporters, and added: In terms of form, the most important change is that the process of selecting exemplary exporters was carried out systematically; Such that the majority of the assessment was carried out manually and outside the working group and systematically and using data through the country's official systems.
Qanadzadeh emphasized: This evaluation method increased transparency and precision in the selection process of this year's sample of exporters and reduced margins.
Deputy Director for International Trade Promotion of the Iranian Trade Development Organization and Deputy Director of the National Export Day Organizing Committee also highlighted the number of companies and exporters who will be honored this year and said: This year, along with National Export Day, a total of 50 samples of exporters will be honored. It will happen that 40 of these choices will be in the area of products that are classified into different product groups, and depending on the declared indicators, the candidates of each product group. will be selected.
Highlighting the importance of exporting higher value-added goods, Qanadzadeh added: This year, we will select the top 5 exporters from companies with higher value-added products and companies based on knowledge and technology.
Vice President for International Business Promotion of Iran Trade Development Organization and Deputy Head of National Export Day Headquarters said: This year, on the occasion of National Export Day , unlike previous years, a leading cooperative is also honored.
Also, one selected from SMEs (small and medium enterprises) and one from export management companies will be among the best exporters, and finally 5 examples and best exporters this year among companies in the field of export of services, including technical services and engineering, tourism, creative industries, etc. will be selected.
According to him, in total and alongside the distinguished exporters, 50 exporter samples will ultimately be presented.
Qanadzadeh said: This year we received around 550 requests to participate in the sample export process, and the evaluation of these requests began weeks ago in various devices and based on compiled indicators, and a systematic and quantitative evaluation part is underway. and finally In the coming days, the names of the final sample exporters will be announced on the National Export Day.
He added: According to the schedule, on October 29 and concurrently with the National Export Day, the statue of the best exporters of the country will be awarded in the presence of the President and they will be honored.
According to the deputy head of the National Export Day headquarters, this ceremony will take place in the presence of a number of ministers, chambers of commerce, cooperatives and corporations of the country, economic activists, exporters exemplary and distinguished figures of different eras, parliamentarians and representatives of various executive bodies.
