He also highlighted the discovery of the new Shahini reservoir with an estimated volume of 22 trillion cubic feet of gas storage in Fars province and within the boundaries of Lamard and Moher counties, and said: This reservoir is considered as the largest onshore gas reserve in the country and based on seismic studies, this Gasi Kangan field reservoir is also larger.
The Minister of Oil said: At the beginning of the 13th government, oil production was 2.2 million barrels, while today this index reaches more than three million and 300 thousand barrels, and we will have new records in this area by the end of this year.
Pointing out that over the past two years, Iranian oil industry experts have been given a platform and have been able to complete many half-finished projects such as South Pars Phase 11, he added: Abadan Refinery Phase 2, South Pars Refinery Phase 14, Associated Gas West and East Karun Gathering Projects and several other cases were carried out during the same period.

Referring to the opening of the first part of a small refinery for gas condensate refining in the town of Moher, he said: “The production of naphtha, kerosene, diesel and gasoline is very important for the country in the current situation and it will bring a lot of added value to the investor and the country. We hope that the second one, this refinery, will be launched as quickly as possible.
Referring to the existence of the Eram gas field, near the town of Lamard, the Minister of Oil declared: The implementation of the development plan for the Eram field will create jobs in this area. Therefore, according to the new findings, investors in this area should not worry about food in any way.
Recalling that the Ministry of Oil spent only 20 trillion rial in the field of social responsibility projects in the last eight years of government, Oji said: In the last 2 years, we invested more than 200 a thousand billion tomans in this area.
