Mehdi Zaighmi, head of the Trade Development Organization, announced the holding of the second exhibition dedicated to Eurasia in Tehran and said: This exhibition will be held from December 04 to 07, in the presence of officials of the member countries of the Eurasian Union and some member countries of Shanghai and the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council will be held at the permanent site of the Tehran International Expo.
He added: Iranian and foreign companies in various industrial, mining and agricultural fields have stands at this exhibition, and there are plans to organize specialized conferences on the sidelines of the exhibition on trade and infrastructure issues, including including transport, monetary and banking issues. and customs, trade agreements, scientific cooperation, tourism and knowledge-based cooperation should be concluded.
The head of the trade development organization added: With the conclusion of the preferential trade agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union as a first step and the conversion of this agreement into free trade in the near future, the volume of trade with these countries will increase. .
Stating that in the six months of 2023, compared to the same period of the previous year, our country's exports to these countries increased by about 18%, he said: the highest growth in exports to the countries of Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
I must say; The first exhibition dedicated to Eurasia took place in Tehran in July 1400 with the presence of officials and companies from the member countries of this union.
