Seyyed Mohammad Sadiq Qanadzadeh, Deputy Director for International Trade Promotion at the Trade Development Organization, said: After about 5 years of intense negotiations, we can announce that the Iran-5 Free Trade Agreement Eurasian countries will be finalized before the end of the year. . This means that more than 87% of commercial goods will be subject to zero customs duties.
He emphasized: This event will create a unique capacity for the country's trade to grow, because during this period we used these conditions on an experimental basis and with temporary agreements, our trade capacity with Eurasia doubled and reached approximately 5 billion dollars, but statistics predict the multiplication of trade between Iran and Eurasia.
All infrastructure has been prepared for this and the capacity of the private sector has been utilized so that soon we will witness a leap in the business of our country.
Qanadzadeh spoke about the plans made to take full advantage of this agreement and avoid losses for the country: One of the reasons for prolonging the negotiations was good free trade planning; It has been proven that most of the goods included in the free trade list are those in which we have a competitive advantage or those that are essential to import into the country.
A studied program has been developed so that this free trade leads to the development of the export of products with higher added value and the import of goods necessary for the country.
The Deputy Director for International Trade Promotion of the Trade Development Organization emphasized: All countries are trying to come together and sign this agreement as soon as possible, but before signing it, we started our activities to draw party to this agreement.
