According to Iran's former OPEC representative, focusing on new marketing and creating new market demand by relying on activating depreciated capacity of refineries in different parts of the world like the Africa and South America, as well as moving towards the diversification of export sources through new marketing in In the area of mini-refineries in East Asia, the positive policy of the government has been in this area, he said: If we were limited to traditional markets, we would not have been able to create such events.
He said that some initiatives have been taken and that in refineries whose activity is low or not active at all, the Ministry of Oil has intervened and with the measures taken it has been able to cause good events, until that many requests are made. on this issue, he said: the policy of marketization instead of marketing could have ended well, of course, the diplomacy that existed also helped in this area, the diplomacy oriented towards the East made us conclude many contracts with China, and the same thing happened. in favor of Iran.
He added: "Focusing on natural gas trade, in addition to continuing gas cooperation with northern countries, also played a role in resolving this problem, and the government was able to make arrangements in oil industry, which resulted in the achievement of economic growth in the country.

According to Khatibi, the 13th government, following the development of South Pars Phase 11 and increasing Iran's gas production capacity by 6 billion cubic meters per year, can increase its current exports by 35%.
