Safdar Niazi Shahraki participated in a meeting with the Tajik delegation on the sidelines of the 25th International Irrigation and Drainage Congress.
This was decided at this meeting; Since next year the international drainage workshop will be organized by the International Irrigation and Drainage Committee in Tajikistan, cooperation between Iran and Tajikistan is also expected to be developed in this area and Iran , in particular the Deputy Minister of Water and Soil of the Ministry of Agriculture. Jihad in the field of modern irrigation systems, considering that he has good experiences to organize a comprehensive exhibition on the sidelines of this workshop.
Furthermore, at this meeting it was decided that the two countries would organize educational workshops necessary for the parties to exchange current information and knowledge in various fields.
The cooperation of the two countries in various fields, including the production and supply of irrigation equipment and equipment, as well as energy-saving equipment, was discussed at the meeting.
The most important thing is that the parties agreed to prepare a memorandum of cooperation between the two countries which will be signed on the sidelines of this congress.
At the end of this meeting, the parties invited each other to visit the activities of the agricultural sector and to learn more about the capacities and potentials of the water and soil sector.
According to the report, at this meeting, the deputy of the Irrigation and Land Reform Agency of Tajikistan and also the Secretary General of the Irrigation and Drainage Committee of this country, Fariborz Abbasi, advisor to the minister and executor of the modern irrigation project. and Reed Irrigation Systems, an irrigation veteran and member of the National Irrigation and Drainage Committee of Iran, were present at this meeting.
