Oji said the 13th government started its work with a daily production of 2 million 200 thousand barrels and added: Today we produce 3 million 300 thousand barrels of oil.
He said the completion of half-completed projects in the oil and gas field was on the agenda of the 13th government and added: In the last two years, projects worth $28 billion were opened and implemented.
The Minister of Oil continued: The Yasouj project was unfinished for two decades when the 13th government completed this project, which increased production in the country.
He said: Increasing exports of petrochemicals was part of the government's plan. Last year, exports of these products amounted to $14 billion, and today the value of the country's oil reaches 330 billion barrels.
Oji added: “In the last two years, we have not had any problem in the area of foreign exchange sources, while the 13th government started its work with a budget deficit of 450 trillion tomans, which was compensated by oil revenues thanks to the efforts made. do."
Stating that in recent years, the elites of the oil sector have left the country, he added: “Over the last two years, all the elites of the oil faculty have been recruited by the ministry, and today all our oil and gas engineers are Iranian engineers, and we have no foreign staff. »
The Minister of Oil said: Currently, more than 80% of the equipment and tools needed for the oil industry are produced in the country by the hands of Iranian youth, which has resulted in foreign exchange savings.
The Oil Minister said: At the start of the 13th government, 150 knowledge-based companies were active in the oil sector, and today this number has reached 600 companies.
He said that in the first quarter of this year, the economic growth of the oil industry group was 19 percent, which is unique in history, adding: the economic growth of the oil industry group will reach 15 to 20 percent by the end of this year.
