The participants agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation between the special economic zones of Russia and Iran in November this year, which will aim to expand ties between the SEZs in terms of production interactions, trade, economy and investment.

Dmitry Vakhrukov informed his Iranian colleagues about the creation of the Technological and Logistics Union in Russia. The Union was created as a continuation of the agreements reached on the partnership of special economic zones of the Caspian states between the participants of the II Caspian Economic Forum.

The Union includes the management companies of two special economic zones of Russia: the Technopolis Moscow SEZ of the technology-innovation type, specializing in supporting residents involved in the creation and industrial application of scientific and technical developments, and the ZES Lotos of industrial production. type, supervising the production, processing and logistics of goods in the port and industrial economic zones of the Astrakhan region. The third member of the union was the autonomous non-profit organization “Directorate of International Transport Corridors”, which deals with improving the efficiency of transport infrastructure and carriers along the ITC routes.
