Iranian electric bus production line launched.
Today, in the presence of the Minister of Silence: Iran Khodro Diesel's Atros-e electric bus mass production line, with an annual production capacity of 4,000 units, will be inaugurated today in the presence of the Minister of Peace and is ready for operation.
 

According to Fars, a member of the board of directors of Iran Khodro Diesel announced the annual production capacity of E-Atros electric buses of four thousand units and said: To manufacture this product, Atros diesel bus production halls will be equipped with special tools. for the installation of batteries, motors and the installation of electrical connections are used.
Referring to the signing of the memorandum of understanding for the supply and delivery of 500 Atros electric buses to the Ministry of the Interior this year, Mehdi Balo said: According to plans, 100 units of this product will be produced by end of this year. .
He pointed out that using a powerful engine with a maximum power of 350 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 3,500 Nm, the initial power and acceleration have increased significantly, so it is even more powerful than the diesel version. of the Atros bus.
This product can be connected to the remote control center using a wireless network so that, in addition to monitoring performance characteristics, it also has the ability to inform the driver to prevent and eliminate possible software and hardware defects.
In this way, all buses in the fleet have the ability to connect to each other and to the data center, and for the first time in Iran, the concept of connected cars has been implemented in commercial products.
Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Iran Khodro Diesel Company, referring to the 20% tilting capacity of the E-Atros bus with 80 passengers and energy saving when braking, said: This bus is fully charged in about three hours and has a full charge. The 350 kWh battery can travel up to 250 km.
Pointing out that the E-Atros electric bus has a warranty of two years or 200,000 kilometers, he added: The engine of the Iran Khodro Diesel electric bus has a five-year warranty and its battery has an eight-year warranty.
Emphasizing that the production of chargers and charging stations for this product was entrusted to the Mapna company under a contract, Balo said: Currently, in addition to 40 buses, the launch of six chargers is also planned, in order to provide infrastructure. be delivered to Karaj Municipality with buses.
Referring to Iran Khodro Diesel's future plans in the field of electrical product production, he said: We are working on an 18-meter electric bus so that we can introduce it into the public transportation cycle.
