The President's Advisor said that the economic packages of the free zones were unveiled in four stages and recognized: today, with 150 new packages worth about 250 billion tomans, we have achieved a total of 1000 packages worth 20 billion euros (equivalent to 900 trillion tomans) that candidates can invest in this area.
Stating that there is no limit to investments in free zones, Abdul Maleki pointed out: From the beginning of this year to the end of November, around 1,400 projects worth 430 trillion tomans were requested to invest in the country's seven free zones, of which 170 projects were among the planned packages.
According to him; During the same period, 37 billion tomans of investment in the free zones was made and in the last three months of this year, we will seek to meet the registered demands and start the construction process.
The Secretary of the High Council of Free and Special Economic Zones said: According to upstream documents, 6 missions have been envisaged for the free zones, which include the jump in production, the jump in exports, the transfer of technology, the satisfaction basic needs of the country, financing from abroad and the construction and development of the region. It turns out that four of them are considered international.
Stressing that these zones are considered the poles of the country's economic progress, Abdul Maliki noted: Free and special economic zones constitute the national team of the country's international economy, for this reason, more than a third of exports non-oil sources of the country came from these areas.

He continued: In the 8th month of this year, we have participated in five international events and four national exhibitions, and soon we will participate in the event in India, because due to their great capacity and greater recognition, they will attract more demand.
Stating that free zones are the main points of communication with international cooperation organizations, Abdul Maleki said: Iran can maintain trade relations with the Eurasian Economic Union through the Aras region, the countries bordering the Caspian Sea through Anzali, Shanghai Union through Qeshm, BRICS group through Kish and India through Chabahar.
He underlined: "The international status of free zones is growing. They will regain their initial position as the economic engine of the country after having gone beyond the slogans."
He said: The Chabahar Free Zone is the center of Iran's cooperation with the Indian subcontinent; Kish Free Zone will be Iran's representative in the BRICS region, while Anzali Free Zone will be the center of Iran's cooperation with Caspian and Aras Sea countries , at the center of cooperation for Eurasia.
Finally, the advisor to the president and secretary of the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones, stating that investors and exporters of free zones will be honored periodically, and highlighted that seven investors and seven best exporters will also be honored this year.
It should be noted that the second exhibition dedicated to Eurasia was opened on the 13th of this month at the permanent international exhibitions in Tehran and will continue until the 16th of this month.
It is worth mentioning that large companies from the member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union are present at this exhibition and Iranian companies, in cooperation with the members of this union, occupied more than 1,000 square meters of exhibition space.
