He added: 140 power plants in the country are engaged in the production and supply of electricity, and less than 10% of them are obliged to use a second fuel as a backup fuel in emergency situations and when fuel gas is increasing in both commercial and domestic sectors. These are not the limits of metropolises either.

Rajabi Mashhadi clarified: In megacities and population centers, especially in Tehran, where air pollution has been very high in recent days and special conditions have been created for compatriots, priority is given to diesel , then to standard diesel, and the diesel is not used.

The spokesperson for the power industry emphasized: None of Tehran's five power plants use diesel fuel, and only the Baath power plant can use diesel fuel, which has been sealed since 2013 and even earlier, since 2008. Diesel fuel was not used. to produce electricity in this plant.

The CEO of Iran's Power Grid Management Company said regarding electricity generation by renewable power plants in the country: According to the order of the honorable president who emphasized and supported the development of renewable power plants and which was also raised at the Supreme Council of Energy, 4,500 megawatts of new solar power plants were agreed, to be built and launched, fortunately the tenders were launched, the winning companies were identified and the necessary guarantees were provided.
