Efendizadeh said Iran can play a major role in international transportation due to its geographical location and said: Economic problems are related to transit corridors, and if we can create logistics corridors, then a trade corridor will emerge and this can be a platform for the activation of economic corridor infrastructure and ultimately development corridors will be created.
He said that Iran is located at the intersection of international corridors and this opportunity should be exploited, and continued: In recent years, much attention has been paid to the development of transport infrastructure and they are considered as big projects, and today I would say Iran is the way to go.
The Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development emphasized: Iran, with its 2,500 km river border and its neighborhood with 13 countries, can have a unique position for the development of transit corridors, and in this exhibition, we seek to create an economic model for private sector participation.
