Free trade agreement opens new horizon for Shanghai, CEE and BRICS.

Mehdi Safari, who accompanied the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade during his trip to St. Petersburg, added in an interview Monday evening: “The signing of the free trade agreement between Iran and The Eurasian Economic Union is important because it leads to new trade relations with the Economic Cooperation Organization. » Shanghai becomes ECO and BRICS, because three of the five member countries of the Eurasian Union are members of Shanghai, two are members of ECO, and one country is also a member of BRICS.
Referring to Iran's efforts to establish free trade with CEE member countries, Safari also reminded that this agreement has not yet been implemented.
The Deputy Foreign Minister noted that after the signing of this free trade agreement, there would be an increase in exports and imports between Iran and the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.
He spoke about the very good environment for exporting Iranian products in the field of automobiles, transit, reactors, auto parts, construction materials, medical equipment and medicines.
According to Safari, Iran has a very good understanding of the products needed by the Eurasian Union and Commonwealth member states, and recently the standards of Iranian auto parts have also been accepted.
Referring to the possibility of importing grain and chemical fertilizers from Russia and Belarus, the Deputy Minister of Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “In the past, we imported these goods from distant countries, but Now, with the increase in imports from these countries, we can also enjoy a profit in terms of dollars."
The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade arrived in St. Petersburg, Russia before noon on Monday, January 4, 1402, with the aim of negotiating with some officials of the Eurasian Economic Union and signing the agreement permanent free trade between the Islamic Republic. of Iran and the members of this union.
During this one-day trip, the free trade agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Eurasian Union was signed, which after the approval of the Iranian parliaments and five member countries of this union , removes customs duties from approximately 87% of goods in bilateral trade.
