Private sector entry into the development of oil and gas fields leads to development and exploitation.
Member of the Energy Commission of the Islamic Council: The entry of the private sector into the development of oil and gas fields leads to the development and exploitation of unused common fields.

Ramzan Ali Sangdwini, member of the Energy Commission of the Islamic Council, said regarding the Parliament's proposal regarding the development of oil and gas fields: the development of oil and gas fields is of great importance. importance as one of the strategic centers, and given that a high percentage of the country's budget revenues comes from oil and gas supplies, we currently produce about 3.5 million barrels of oil and we we export around 1.5 million barrels.
About 900 million cubic meters of gas are produced every day, which are used in the commercial, domestic, industrial, power plant and petrochemical sectors, and about 120 million liters of gasoline and diesel per day, and 90 million liters of fuel oil are produced every day. among the country's products.
He added: The petrochemical industry is a foreign exchange generating industry for the country, and in this situation, we must realize that the country's development relies on oil and gas.
In posing this problem, we must definitely seek the development of the oil and gas sector, and the solution lies in the development and entry of the private sector into the investment, development and exploitation of oil and gas fields.
This representative of the 11th Parliament explained: On the other hand, oil and gas have been observed in the north of the country, particularly in the north of the Golestan province, and it is possible to extract these petroleum products with the entry of the private sector. .
The development of oil and gas fields is our imperative necessity in the country, but on the other hand, we must use the development to extract and produce oil and gas, and on the other hand, use their presence to optimize these fuels. and petrochemical revenues should be spent on the country's infrastructure, not on running the country's business and running costs.
We should use oil and gas revenues to create jobs, and the more the private sector enters into this sector, the more it will lead to development, and the more development will lead to job creation.
On the other hand, our oil and gas fields, which have been used for years and have not been exploited, and the equipment used there are very depreciated, so they should be strengthened using the power of the private sector .
Stressing that private sector involvement in all areas will lead to development, Sangdwini said: Private sector entry into the development of oil and gas fields can lead to the development, preservation and maintenance of deposits and increasing extraction from these areas, on the other hand, sanctions are also destroyed by this means because it is difficult to sanction the private and non-governmental sector.
