Iran-Russia intergovernmental trade commission to be held soon
The Russian Deputy Prime Minister announced: This country and Iran will soon hold an intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation in Tehran.

According to the TASS news agency, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced in a conversation with TASS that this country and Iran will soon organize an intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation in Tehran.
In response to a question about the date of this business event, he clarified that this meeting would be held on February 28.
In response to the question of whether the creation of a gas hub would be discussed within this intergovernmental commission and whether an agreement on joint gas projects could be signed there, Novak said that the parties "are working on it and their companies interact".
Novak, Russian Deputy Prime Minister, previously announced that Gazprom would study the issue of creating a gas hub in Iran and added that if this project had good capacity, Moscow would participate.
He said: I think our company Gazprom will investigate this issue and if it is really and potentially a good project, they will of course participate in it.
Russia will do the same.
But it is necessary to evaluate and review it (the project).
Reports indicate that Iran plans to create a gas hub in the Asalouye industrial zone in Bushehr province with the participation of Russia, Qatar and Turkmenistan.
Asalouye is known as the production center of the world's largest oil and gas field, the North-South Pars Field, located in the central part of the Persian Gulf, in the waters of Iran and Qatar.
The total geological reserves of this field are estimated at 51,000 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 7.7 billion cubic meters of condensate.
According to this report, recoverable reserves are estimated at 35.6 trillion cubic meters of natural gas and 3 billion cubic meters of condensate.
