The CEO of Ports and Maritime Organization said: This organization will put all its strengths and efforts over the next year to implement the three key strategies and issues of “sea economy”, “transit” and “logistics management”.
 

Ali Akbar Safai said at the annual meeting of directors of this organization: One of the strategies of the Port Organization in the international sector will be to continue the creation and participation of the permanent representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the International Maritime Organization. .
He added: In line with the government's policy to develop economic cooperation with neighboring countries, two strategies of transit development and foreign investment in ports are expected to be strengthened next year.
The Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development underlined the vigilance of the Maritime Deputy Minister of the Ports Organization in taking a rapid and precise maritime position in the face of any tension-provoking and illegal events and declared: We are without no doubt in a direct war with America and Israel, therefore, the maritime deputy of the port organization must be prepared for any difficult situation with a precise and correct plan and position.
Growth in public transit should be the foundation
In the section on the development approaches of this organization in the national field, Safaei highlighted: One of the key plans of the Ports Organization for the coming year will be the development of transit bases.

Continue the modernization of the national fleet by allocating new financial resources
Referring to the good measures taken for the modernization and development of the country's maritime fleet, the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development announced the continuation of this policy through the identification and definition of new sources of financing, notably obtaining credits from the National Development Fund.
He cited the promotion of education in three areas of seafarers, port employees and organizational personnel as other serious projects of the Port Organization for the coming year and emphasized: unlike practical studies, strategic studies of this organization should be continued and carried out. more intensely.
Use all capacities to modernize port and maritime equipment
Safaei designated the development of domestic and foreign investments as a central approach for the coming year and emphasized: despite the difficult conditions caused by the embargo, we will use all internal and external capabilities of the organization to modernize equipment ports and maritime.
The CEO of the Port and Maritime Organization also highlighted the implementation of the construction of the Makran Grand Port and the new Langeh Port and added: next year, a large part of the income of this organization will be spent on the creation of infrastructure and port and maritime development. Infrastructure.
The Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development said that the country's economic growth in the maritime sector is expected to increase and said that: along with the increase in construction projects in ports and infrastructure development in port areas , the challenges of ports must be resolved.
Ultimately, Safaei also said that continuing the process of port smarting, structural reform, reducing administrative bureaucracy and reviewing and targeting comprehensive plans are among the other strategies of the port organization during the year to come.
