The head of Iranian customs announced: Iran's trade with 15 neighboring countries in 1402 increased by 1.35% and reached 60 billion 773 million dollars.
 

Dr. Rezvanifar, Deputy Minister of Economy and Head of General Customs of Iran, announced this news and said: Iran's trade weight (total exports and imports) in 2023 with 15 neighboring countries was 95 million 924 thousand tons, which is 2.45 million tons compared to the previous year. It shows a percentage decrease.
Regarding Iran's trade with neighboring countries in 2023, separating exports and imports, Rizwanifar added: During this period, 28 billion and 288 million dollars worth of goods were exported to 15 neighboring countries and 32 ​ ​billion and 485 million dollars were imported into the country, which is 9.51 billion respectively, this percentage decreased and increased by 13.17%.
The Deputy Minister of Economy and General Head of Iranian Customs said: During this period, Iranian exports to the countries of Iraq, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Kuwait, from Qatar and Saudi Arabia decreased, as well as to the countries of the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan. , Afghanistan, Oman, Russia, Kazakhstan and Bahrain faced an increase.
Regarding imports of goods from neighboring countries in 2023, he added: During this period, imports from Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait and Bahrain decreased in value, and those from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Russia, Oman, Iraq, Qatar, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and Bahrain show an increase.
Additionally, during this period, there were no imports from the neighboring country of Saudi Arabia.
Rizwanifar said: Looking at Iran's trade statistics with neighboring countries, it shows that our country's trade (exports and imports) with the countries of UAE, Pakistan, Russia, Oman and of Afghanistan increased, and that trade with Turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Armenia increased. Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia declined in 2023.
Regarding the top 5 neighboring countries with which the largest volume of trade (total exports, imports) in terms of value was carried out in 2023, Deputy Minister of Economy and Head of General Customs of Iran added: During this period, more than $54 billion of Iran's trade with 5 neighboring countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan and the Russian Federation.
