Iran-Turkey trade down 20% / foreign trade volume exceeded $1.7 billion .
Turkey's statistics office announced that in the first four months of this year, the country's trade with Iran reached $1.725 billion.

Trade between Iran and Turkey in the first four months of this year is one billion and 725 million dollars.
This figure was 2 billion and 173 million dollars in the first four months of the previous year.
The drop of more than 40% in gas prices was the main reason for the decline in the value of trade between Iran and Turkey in the first four months of 2023.
According to this report, Turkey's exports to Iran during the months of January to April 2023 decreased by 4% compared to the same period last year and reached 904 million dollars.
Turkey had exported $942 million worth of goods to Iran during the months of January to April last year.
Turkey's imports from Iran in the first four months of 2023 also decreased by 33% compared to the same period last year.
Turkey had imported $1.231 million worth of goods from Iran during the months of January to April last year, which fell to $821 million during the same period this year.
According to this report, Turkey's total exports in the first four months of 2023 amounted to $80 billion and the country's imports amounted to $124 billion.
Germany is the largest exporter to Turkey, and Russia is the country's largest source of imports.
