The Department of Energy announced: 17 companies with a capacity of 1,172 megawatts won the fourth public investment tender for the construction of 4,000 megawatts of solar power plants.
 

The fourth public investment tender for the construction of 4,000 megawatts of solar power plants in accordance with the objectives of the 13th government and the Ministry of Energy was held on Monday, August 9, 2023.
In this tender, 200 companies received evaluation documents, of which 180 companies received the necessary points to participate in the tender by SATBA Energy Organization.
Finally, 17 companies with a capacity of 1,172 megawatts won this call for tenders. So far, in the three tenders held for the construction of the solar power plant, participants have respectively won 1,885 megawatts, and in the fourth tender, 1,172 megawatts, which includes a total of 3 .57 megawatts out of 4,000 megawatts.
On this basis, one of the companies won the tender for 3 constructions with capacities of 215 MW, 300 MW and 485 MW, making a total of 1000 MW.
In addition, August 16 is the deadline for sending the invitation to sign a contract by the Iranian Renewable Energy and Electricity Efficiency Organization (SATBA) with the winners of the call for tenders. Offers.
