The deputy in charge of promoting international affairs of the Iranian Trade Development Organization added: The member countries of the Eurasian Union import 380 billion dollars per year.
He said: In 2016, Iran's temporary preferential trade agreement was concluded with these 5 countries, thanks to which, in the first year of the agreement, our exports to this country increased by 80%.
Qanadzadeh said that since 2019, trade negotiations on Economic Union have started and in one or two months, 5 countries will sign the final free trade document for Iran, and after that, this document must be approved by the countries parliament. Free trade between Iran and the member countries of the Eurasian Union will begin at the beginning of the next solar year.
Vice President for International Affairs Promotion of the Iranian Trade Development Organization said that with the signing of the Iran-Eurasia free trade cooperation document, customs duties on goods imported between the countries would be zero and said: On this basis, we can have a strong increase in exports. Out of 100% of our trade products, 87% are included in the free trade list with zero tariff, but some banned import products, such as some agricultural products and textile industries, are not included in the free trade list. exchange with free tariff, and goods such as cars are subject to the same fixed tariff.
 

Stating that Iran's trade capacity with Eurasian countries is $30 billion, he said: In 2022, compared to 2021, our exports to Eurasian countries increased by 28%, from $1.165 billion in 1400 to 1 billion in 2021. And we reached 500 million dollars in 2022.
Qanadzadeh added: In the first seven months of this year, our exports to Eurasian Union member countries amounted to $913 million, which means that our exports increased by 20 percent compared to the last seven month.

He said joint commission meetings and working groups would also be held in conjunction with the second Eurasia Expo. He said: joint commission meeting with Russia, joint commission meeting with Kazakhstan, joint commission meeting with Oman and industry, mining and trade. A working group with Russia will also take place.

Qanadzadeh said: 80 Iranian companies and 20 companies from Eurasian countries will be present at the Eurasia exhibition, which are companies active in the fields of agriculture, food, industry, automobile, chemistry and petrochemicals, household appliances, wires and cables, transport, investment. , Oil and gas, mining, medicine and medical equipment, paint and resin, mining will be present.

Deputy Head of the Iranian Trade Development Organization said: The first series of the Eurasia Exclusive Exhibition was held in Tehran in July 2021, and the second series of this exhibition will be held in Tehran from December 4 to 7 .
