The President's Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy said: He announced the $30 billion share of the digital economy in the country's gross national product and said: Iran has the potential to increase this figure to $150 billion.

    He said: Thanks to the global wave of development of communication technology, our country's digital economy has also received significant attention.
He added: Over the past two decades, the global trend has been created and is the factor for the development of a new economy towards digital economy.
The digital economy represents 15% of global gross domestic product and one-seventh of the global economy is digital.
In Iran, one-fifteenth of the economy is digital and this economy represents $30 billion in gross domestic product. Iran, however, has the capacity to increase this figure to $150 billion.
Dehghani Firouzabadi continued: The digital economy is one of the driving areas of the global economy, which is integrated with technology from the ground up and is the most knowledge-based economy that exists in our country.
The President's Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy Said: In this economy model, human power is particularly important, and Iran also has young human resources , smart and cheap compared to the rest of the world, and it can be useful.
He added: The digital economy is a people's economy, in other words, it is the most popular economy, and people own a large share of the digital economy in the country and are interested in investing in it. this economy.
Dehghani said: The Ministry of Communications has established three headquarters with the aim of developing infrastructure; Technology development headquarters, digital economy headquarters active in market development and artificial intelligence headquarters.
Finally, he pointed out: It was expected that 15 billion tomans would be invested in the digital economy this year thanks to the tax credit, but only 7 billion of this amount has been realized so far.
