36.5% growth in foreign transit via Iran in 2023.
Iranian Customs Announcement; Foreign transit through Iran in 2023 increased by 36.52% and reached 17 million 790 thousand tons.
 

The largest volume of foreign transit in 2023 was carried out from the Shahid Rajaei customs zone at the rate of 5 million 170 thousand tons, which represents a growth of 36.9% compared to before.
After Shahid Rajaei Special Zone Customs, Parviz Khan and Bashmaq Customs accounted for the largest volume of foreign transit with 3,950,000 tonnes and 1,938,000 tonnes, respectively, among the major customs of origin of foreign transit .
This report states that in 2023, foreign transit from Parvizkhan customs point increased by 368% and from Bashmaq customs point by 57%.
According to this report:

Bazargan customs by carrying out foreign transit formalities of one million 188 thousand tonnes.
Fern customs with 723 thousand tons,
Bilehsavar with 674 thousand tons,
Astara with 549 thousand tons,
Jolfa with 542 thousand tons,
Port of Lange with 482 thousand tons and
Customs of the Astara Special Economic Zone with 456,000 tons
Among the main customs of origin of foreign transit, they rank from 4th to 10th.
According to this report, approximately 88% of foreign transits passing through Iran in 2023 came from the 10 aforementioned customs.
